People in your agency, and in your community, care about the environment. They want to make a positive difference. They want to be part of the solutions to climate change, not part of the problem. Addressing environmental sustainability together can energise your team, and enhance personal and professional integrity. Tackling climate change risk is a vital component of good governance today.
Testimonials
"Silvia provided professional support over 2021 to a staff working group tasked with developing recommendations to advance effective and meaningful environmental sustainability initiatives across our organisation. Her input and the resources she shared helped strengthen the process and ensured that the identified objectives and related actions were part of an integrated and coherent organisational change plan. Silvia’s involvement resulted in the working group producing the desired initial outputs faster than had they worked alone and without her expertise and knowledge."

"For Mental Health Awareness Week 2021 we invited Silvia to present on the topic of ‘Climate Change and Mental Health’. She talked about how climate change was affecting us and what we could do to promote wellbeing, for our clients and ourselves, in a time of climate crisis. Anxiety can overwhelm and immobilise and this session provided an overview of mental health challenges related to environmental concerns. Feedback from participants was excellent: "Best MHAW event I have experienced! Ka pai!", "An absolutely fabulous presentation. Thank-you Silvia for sharing your time & knowledge with us.", "Very interesting, practical and hopeful session."

Kaitiakitanga Sustainability
“Sustainability is a way of thinking or an aspect of worldview that focuses attention on creating a world that encourages the mutual flourishing of the human and natural world, both now and into the future. It is a transformational way of thinking that, once embraced, requires changes in behaviour, decision-making, policy development, economic systems, and other social structures.”
